An American Freedom Garden
A new exhibit to help each new generation better appreciate our veterans and their gift of freedom.

The Land of Promise
An exhibit that tells personal stories of those who have lived in Northeast Georgia and serves as a reminder that our land is a land of promise for everyone.

"The Way It Was" Photo Gallery
A photographic, changing display offering a pictorial history of people and places in Northeast Georgia which showcases the human spirit.

Northeast Georgia Sports Hall of Fame
A multipurpose area offering a pictorial tribute to those from Northeast Georgia who have achieved national recognition in sports.

Northeast Georgia Legacy Tributes
The History Center features a tribute album displaying individual honorees to those friends who have made a difference in the history of Northeast Georgia.

Cherokee Chief White Path's Cabin
Here is an opportunity to see what home life was like for both the Cherokee Indians and early white settlers in this c. 1780 cabin.



Adventures of Mark Trail
Telling the story of Mark Trail, an adventure strip dedicated to preserving the environment, our exhibit features artifacts from the comic strip's originator, Ed Dodd.

Folk Pottery & Special Exhibits
The Folk Pottery Exhibit highlights both historic and contemporary works from notable Northeast Georgia potters from the 19th Century to present.


* All exhibits in the History Center are continually enhanced and changed. Frequent visits are encouraged and as a member, there is no charge for admission.
